Bouncer / Security Job Description
We are looking for a professional, energetic Bouncer to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all staff and patrons. The Bouncer will work in conjunction with the Bar Manager, Head of Security and General Manager to proactively diffuse conflict and, when needed, disrupt and resolve any conflict necessary and is within compliance of bar policies, federal, state and local laws.
Bouncer Responsibilities:
Safety is our key priority throughout the establishment. The Bouncer(s), in conjunction with the management staff, will work to proactively establish safety guidelines for smooth operation.
Provide patrons with hospitality and safety
Crowd management
Diffuse conflict
Customer service
Check ID’s in accordance with Federal, state and local laws
Qualifications:
Professional and neat appearance
maintain crowd control and assure a fun/safe environment
2+ years of experience as a security guard, bouncer, MP or other related field.
Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally.
Observant and thorough.
Responsible, punctual.
Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and working nights, weekends, and holidays.
We are looking to fill a Friday & Saturday night shift. 10p-3:30a
