Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Bouncer to ensure the safety and security of our venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, enforcing rules, and providing a safe environment for patrons and staff. This role requires strong conflict management skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations that may arise in a nightlife setting.
Duties
Monitor the entrance and exit of guests to ensure compliance with venue policies.
Conduct thorough checks of identification to verify age and prevent underage entry.
Manage crowd control during busy hours, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and report any illegal activities or suspicious behavior.
Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor the venue effectively.
Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of guests.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage within the venue.
Qualifications
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention or security roles is advantageous.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring techniques.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with patrons and staff.
Must be physically fit, capable of standing for extended periods, and able to handle potentially challenging situations.
