Our client, a dedicated educational institution, is seeking a Campus Monitor to join their team. As a Campus Monitor, you will be part of the security team supporting the safety and well-being of students and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring a secure environment.
Location: Yorktown Heights, NY
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.
Can be called on to cover the following shifts:
6:30am-2:30pm, 7am-3pm, 7:30am-3:30pm, 1:30pm-7:30pm, 2pm-7pm
What’s the Job?
Monitor and secure the premises of the campus, both inside and outside.
Check in visitors and ensure proper procedures are followed for appointments.
Provide assistance and guidance to students and staff as needed.
Respond to any incidents or emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
Collaborate with school administration to maintain a safe learning environment.
What’s Needed?
Several years of law enforcement or security experience.
Experience working in a school district is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of individuals.
