Position Overview
Westminster Canterbury is hiring a Full-Time Campus Safety and Security Officer for night shifts. The ideal candidate should have flexible availability and the ability to pick up shifts as needed to ensure campus safety and security during varying hours.

12:00 am to 8:00 am

Responsibilities
Responding to medical and other emergencies
Managing parking, enforcing policies, issuing tickets, booting cars, towing (as authorized)
Assisting fire departments and managing evacuations
Operating and monitoring emergency equipment
Performing minor maintenance and managing mechanical issues
Supporting disaster preparedness and safety compliance
Operating radios and handling elevator rescues
Providing excellent customer service and communication
Qualifications
Minimum age 21
Security experience preferred
Valid driver’s license
CPR certification or ability to obtain
Ability to lift 50 lbs., walk long distances, climb stairs
Ability to work in various weather conditions and emergencies
Experience with mature populations and proficiency in MS Office
Strong communication and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Walk 5-7 miles per shift, indoors and outdoors
