Salary £25,500 – £27,000
* Full time 12 hour rotating shift pattern – 08:00 – 20:00 & 20:00 – 08:00
(Full time 4-day shift /4-day shift – 4-night shift /4-night shift – rotation on a 4 on 4 off shift basis)

The Role:
CCTV Operator
-Alarm Receiving Operator
As an Alarm Receiving Operator you will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls to the alarm receiving centre, monitoring customer alarms, CCTV and communicating with customer key contacts regarding their alarms.
Key Responsibilities:
CCTV Operator – Alarm Receiving Operator
* Alarm handling and CCTV Operating on our bespoke software
* PC data entry and basic administration duties
* Edit and handle customer records
* Follow procedures methodically and upholding excellent standards
* Deal with customer requests via telephone and email in a professional nature
* Monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner, ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation, and the codes of practice.
* Liaise with Police, other agencies, and designated employees to coordinate the appropriate emergency response by
risk assessment
and adherence to company procedures.
* Provide routine system support to all clients i.e. system testing, administering alarm configurations
* Participate in departmental administrative duties when needed
* Report all events and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format.
* Provide efficient and courteous telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries
* Ensure smooth handovers between operators
Your
Skills and Experience:

* Clear,
effective communication
and strong interpersonal skills
* The ideal candidate must have exceptional concentration, good
attention to detail
and will possess excellent customer service skills
* Good organisation and efficiency as you will be expected to multi-task and remain focused for long periods of time
* To be well presented and professional with the ability to work under pressure and remain calm
* Able to evaluate a situation under pressure using good judgement skills
* SIA CCTV Licence is and advantage, but not essential
* Full Training will be given –
* completion of training modules can be achieved within 6 months
