Job DescriptionWe are looking for askilled CDC/SOC Managerto lead our cybersecurity operations and oversee our Cyber Defense Center (CDC) and Security Operations Center (SOC). The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in cybersecurity, with in-depth knowledge of threat hunting, incident response, and security monitoring practices. Experience in managing and mentoring a team of cybersecurity analysts is essential. The CDC/SOC Manager will be responsible for coordinating and directing security incident investigations, implementing incident response procedures, and ensuring the timely resolution of security incidents. The candidate should have a solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls, and be able to assess and mitigate security risks effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are crucial for success in this role. A proactive approach to staying current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies is necessary. Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are highly preferred. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to promoting a strong security culture within the organization and fostering continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices.
