Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and diligent Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems for surveillance purposes.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the premises.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities or behaviors.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Qualifications
Active Guard card.
Knowledge of situational awareness.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
