Job Description
As a Security Officer – Education Patrol in Stanford, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .
As a Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you engage with the community, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a valid driver’s license for in-state operations. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we prioritize a caring culture that puts people first. Pay Rate: $32.28 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon04:00 PM – 12:30 AMTue05:00 PM – 01:30 AMFri11:30 PM – 08:00 AMSun08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Help to deter potential security-related incidents through visible presence and proactive engagement.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with individuals in the educational environment.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required for positions within the job state.
California Security Professional Guard Card is required.
Possess a valid Guard Card/License; this is preferred but not mandatory.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
