About the Role
Are you an experienced cybersecurity leader looking to make an impact in a fast-growing energy technology company?
We are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead corporate and product security strategy, ensuring the highest security standards for critical infrastructure.
As CISO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security governance, risk management, and compliance programs.
You will work across internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity in both software and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee corporate security governance (ISMS/PMS) and product security strategy.
* Lead cybersecurity risk assessment and implement best practices across the company.
* Ensure compliance with security certifications and industry regulations.
* Provide technical leadership on SW security, embedded systems security, and cloud security.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into the development lifecycle.
* Manage and mentor cybersecurity teams while driving company-wide security awareness.
Must Have Requirements:
* Hands-on experience in software security and embedded systems development.
* Expertise in cloud security and securing critical infrastructure.
* Proven track record in cybersecurity risk management, governance, and compliance.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Passionate about tackling new challenges in an evolving industry.
Native Level of Japanese and Business English
Nice to Have Requirements:
* Experience in the energy sector, IoT or other high-security industries.
* Embedded security / hardware security knowledge.
* Industry certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA, etc.).
* Experience in automotive embedded software security.
