JOB DESCRIPTION:
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Obtains help by notifying the authorities. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This job generally requires the ability to do the following tasks:
Make rounds to check doors and other access points.
Monitor closed-circuit security feeds to identify potential threats.
Deny entry to unauthorized people.
Provide entry to authorized people.
Question and detain people who enter the property without authorization.
Alert the police.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
