Our client is seeking a skilledCloud Security Leadto join theirCyber Security Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and managing the organisation’s cloud security infrastructure, working with the latest technologies in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
Cloud Security Management: Ensure the security of the organisation’sAzureenvironment.
Strategy and Policy Development: Develop and implement effective cloud security strategies and policies.
Data and Application Security: Safeguard cloud-based data and applications through robust security measures.
Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with IT teams to integrate cloud security practices seamlessly.
Security Consultancy: Act as a security consultant and advisor for the organisation.
Support Cloud Transformations: Enable positive transitions to cloud-based services while ensuring security.
Promote IT Security Awareness: Educate teams on the importance of robust IT security practices.
Configuration Assessment and Advisory: Assess and advise on cloud security configurations.
Design and Implementation: Contribute to security-related design and implementation activities.
Compliance and Best Practices: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
Vendor and Procurement Management: Manage vendor relationships and support procurement activities.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest cloud security technologies and trends.
Metric-Based Reporting: Advise on best practices and implement metrics-based reporting.
Collaborate with SOC Partner: Work closely with an outsourced SOC partner to ensure comprehensive security monitoring.
Experience and Competencies
2+ years of specialised experience in a cloud security role.
10+ years of general experience in IT roles.
Strong understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Knowledge of security frameworks such asISO 27001, NIST2, and CIS Controls.
Expert knowledge of theMicrosoft Azure platform.
Familiarity with IT security compliance requirements, such asGDPR.
Expertise in wireless security, encryption, and authentication.
Proven experience in security design and implementation.
Familiarity withMicrosoft Office 365platform.
Qualifications and Certifications
Azure Cloud Experience.
Azure Cloud Certifications– preferably AZ500.
Relevant third-level degree or equivalent experience.
Professional certifications, such asCCSPorCISSP.
