CCI is seeking a Combatant Craft Fleet Readiness Manager (CCFRM) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Combatant Craft Division (CCD) of the Ship Systems Integration and Design Department. The CCFRM SME will work directly with TYCOM level staff for NSW combatant Craft (Naval Special Warfare Group 4 (NSWG-4) on Little Creek Amphibious base, Virginia Beach, VA).
The CCFRM SME is the senior technical specialist on fleet readiness, working directly with command leadership to provide critical judgment to satisfy the overall technical/management requirements. The CCFRM SME needs experience in craft operations, combat experimentation planning, and advising on combatant craft related Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF), with specific expertise on maintenance, modernization, and readiness. They will lead research and analyze elements related to combatant craft war fighting readiness, developing new interpretations and procedures as needed.
The Opportunity:
As a specialist, the CCFRM SME provides expertise to NSWG-4 and Code 83 on assessing the readiness of a fleet of over 70 combatant craft. This role requires coordination with other specialists, project members, and working groups at various levels, providing expert advice and resolving complex problems.
Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
Experience with combatant craft operations, maintenance, modernization, and industrial availability contracting & oversight
Experience communicating directly with military commands at O-5/6 level
This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. Candidates may also be considered for other positions within CACI.
