Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention strategies. This role requires strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations of the State and Company.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity.
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to identify suspicious behavior.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Engage with the public in a professional manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
Implement loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and property damage.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any actions taken during patrols.
Maintain knowledge of local laws and regulations relevant to law enforcement practices.
Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not required.
Strong skills in conflict management and loss prevention strategies.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is advantageous.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong observational skills.
Must be able to pass background checks and any required training or certification processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.50 – $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
10 hour shift
12 hour shift
4 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Night shift
Overnight shift
Weekends as needed
Weekends only
