Job Overview
As an Event Security Officer, you will ensure the safety of attendees, staff, and property during events by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents. You will collaborate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services to uphold safety standards and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Maintain a professional and visible presence to deter unauthorized activities.
Patrol designated areas to ensure safety and prevent incidents.
Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, and perform entry screenings.
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances.
Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Assist attendees with questions and directions, providing excellent customer service.
Report and document security-related incidents accurately.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years old (may vary by location).
High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
Previous security or law enforcement experience is a plus.
Physical fitness to stand or walk for extended periods.
Strong observational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid security license or willingness to obtain one (if required).
Pass a background check and drug screening.
