Senior Living Facility Security Officer
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Tuesday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Thursday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: [Specific location of senior living facility – City, State] Must reside in the Cutler Bay, Homestead, or Kendall area.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our residents, staff, and property at our senior living facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong presence, able to de-escalate situations, enforce regulations, and provide excellent customer service. This is a night shift position.
Responsibilities:
Patrol the facility grounds and buildings on foot, monitoring for suspicious activity and ensuring the safety of residents and staff.
Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches, following established protocols.
Enforce parking rules and regulations, issuing warnings or citations as necessary.
Write detailed incident reports, documenting any security-related events or issues.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors.
Monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
Provide assistance to residents and staff as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be bilingual (Spanish/English).
Prior security experience preferred but not required.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to write clear and concise reports.
Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work the specified schedule.
Must reside in the Cutler Bay, Homestead, or Kendall area.
