Console Operator for Corporate Location Jobs in New York, NY at Doyle Security Services
We are seeking a responsible and vigilant F01 Fire Guard to ensure fire safety compliance at designated locations in New York City. The Fire Guard will monitor premises, conduct patrols, enforce fire safety protocols, and respond to emergency situations as required by NYC Fire Department (FDNY) regulations.
Responsibilities:
Fire Prevention & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with FDNY fire codes and safety regulations.
Premises Monitoring: Conduct regular fire safety patrols in designated areas, such as shelters, hotels, and public buildings.
Emergency Response: React promptly to fire alarms, smoke, or hazardous conditions, and assist in evacuation procedures.
Fire Watch Duties: Maintain constant fire watch in areas where sprinkler or fire alarm systems are not operational.
Inspection & Reporting: Identify fire hazards, document findings, and report to supervisors or property managers.
Equipment Checks: Ensure fire extinguishers, alarms, and other safety equipment are functional and accessible.
Communication: Coordinate with emergency responders in case of fire or safety threats.
Requirements:
Valid F01 Fire Guard License issued by the FDNY.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
