Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Administrative Security Clerk to join our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our industrial facilities. This role requires vigilance, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activities or security breaches.
· Access Control: Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry.
· Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, providing appropriate action and reporting as necessary.
· Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations using designated software and tools.
· Rule Enforcement: Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment.
· Traffic Control: Manage and monitor the flow of vehicles and personnel in and out of the facility, ensuring compliance with site protocols.
· Customer Service: Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
Qualifications:
· Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older.
· Background Check: Must pass an FBI background check.
· Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Applications such as Word and Excel.
· Experience: Previous security experience is preferred, but not required.
· Licenses: Must have a current and valid Driver’s License and an active Unarmed Security Guard Card.
· Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.
· Scheduling & Hours: Must be able to have a flexible schedule and work overtime when needed.
For those who are interested but do not currently possess a guard card:
We welcome individuals interested in becoming Unarmed Security Guards to join our company. New hires will be given 90 days to complete the unarmed security course and the DPS background check necessary to obtain their guard cards. During this 90-day probationary period, we will provide comprehensive, paid-for training to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.
Once they have successfully obtained their guard cards, they will be fully qualified to perform all security work duties. This opportunity allows aspiring security professionals to gain valuable experience and training while working towards their certification.
