Team Intro
Our Converged Security Technology team provides services to TikTok’s US market using four principles that guide our strategic and tactical operations. First, we champion trust and transparency, leading the charge in organizational transparency and execution of security and privacy capabilities that drive customer trust. Finally, we proactively identify and reduce risk while enabling innovative product development – to consistently build sustainable world-class and trusted security capabilities.
As a direct report to the Principal of Converged Security Technology (CST) you will serve as a Specialist responsible for the CST program and systems oversight at the Denver site and serve as a support role for the PoP (Point of Presence) co-located data center locations and the Operations Team. Your role will include facilitating technical programs, implementing tools and establishing processes that support converged security technologies at each location. As the CST Security Specialist, you will collaborate with the Physical Security and USDS PoP/EDGE teams to manage the operations of the Denver site and co-located PoPs.
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.
Responsibilities
Support the Denver site and data center converged security technology program for design, build and run teams
Support in the design and engineering of data center low voltage security related systems (CDN/PoP’s)
Provide subject matter expertise for security processes, partnering with data center operations cross-functional teams
Create specifications, (SoW) scope of work, and (SLA) service level agreement documentation for service and new builds
Project management for new builds, tenant improvements and decommissions
Coordinate between architects and engineers to assure basis of design documents are kept up to date for current Converged Security requirements
Provide technical and design support for relevant stakeholders
Manage vendors providing work at Co-located PoP sites supporting Converged Security Technology
Provide troubleshooting support for converged security systems technology and IT
Develop Design Base Threat solutions to data center security issues
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
2+ Years working in Physical Security/Converged Security Organizations
2+ Years experience in data center security design and implementation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or working knowledge of physical security AI products and their use cases
2 years of experience in the Physical Security Field
2 years program management experience
Strong problem resolution, time management, and independent planning skills
The ability to write clearly and concisely with short deadlines and quick turnaround times, while still effectively communicating information in a structured analytical way
AAPM: Master Project Manager or other PM certification
