Overview of Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with client relations and account management
Development and training of security personnel
Timely and effective response, handling, and reporting of incidents
Conducts interview, processes hiring documents and completes pre-employment requirements
Complete employee performance management forms, including, disciplinary actions, commendations and evaluations as needed
Develop and update Post Orders and other administrative tasks
Frequent site checks and employee inspections to ensure employees understand company protocols
Maintain and update schedules and conduct reviews of staffing levels
Schedule and coordinate trainings and special events
Train new hires at all sites
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications for Security Supervisors:
Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience is preferred
Requires thorough knowledge of industry standard operating procedures and life safety
Experience with Silvertrac or a similar tour tracking program is preferred but not required
Must possess advanced skills and professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion
Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations
Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills are required
Strong supervisory and administrative skills
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively
Proficient in computer skills including MS Office
A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
License/Certification:
Guard Card (Required and maintained, issued by BSIS)
Exposed Firearms License (Required) or obtained within 6 months of employment
Baton Permit (Required)
OC Certification (Required)
Taser Permit (Required)
Driver license (Required)
Education and Certification Requirements:
Possession of a college degree preferred
Physical Functions and Working Environment:
Frequent climbing stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders
Frequent sitting, bending, twisting, and kneeling
Continuous physical effort that requires prolonged periods of walking, standing
Occasional running, as needed
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Frequent reaching, grasping, and keyboarding
Other:
Must have open availability to work any days and shifts as needed (looking for swing and graveyard shifts)
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
Employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug screen and background check
If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
