Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance, and the ability to manage conflicts with professionalism and composure. The Security Officer will be instrumental in enforcing company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors with inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping purposes.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety and security.
Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, including first aid and CPR protocols.
Able to work morning and evening shift.
Experience
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
Certification in loss prevention or security training is a plus.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and monitoring systems (CCTV).
Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A militarized background or relevant training may be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.33 – $16.40 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
