Position:Reception Security Specialist
Pay Range: $18.50 per hour
Hours: 40
Shifts: 8 am – 5 pm
Workdays: Monday – Friday
Note: If you interview, we tend to hire on the spot. Please be prepared to work as we will provide a work schedule immediately after being hired.
As the first point of contact this position requires a high standard of customer service and professional appearance.
Requirements:
Valid BSIS Guard Card
Reliable transportation
Working cell phone
Computer literacy: Proficient in using computer systems and answering phones.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain composure, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions with respect to guests or employee incidents.
Key Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned as needed)
Assist visitors and employees with timely responses to requests and inquiries.
Verify access by use of proper identification, logs and/or similar tracking systems.
Detect, observe, and report suspicious persons or activities to management or designated staff point of contact. Contacting police of fire in an emergency.
Monitor video systems and building access controls to surveil activity as it relates to safety and following security procedures.
Attention to detail. Write detailed reports documenting accidents or unusual events.
Review and analyze data from security systems to provide or relay accurate information.
Report faulty equipment on the property that can be a security issue or safety hazard.
