Fleenor Security is a leading residential and commercial security, fire, access, and video system provider in East Tennessee and we are looking for a top candidate for an open position as a full time Service Technician.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Service Technician, some of your specific duties in this role will include but are not limited to:
Diagnose and repair any system deficiencies noted on service tickets.
Thoroughly and accurately complete associated documentation for all service tickets.
Ability to adapt, troubleshoot, and overcome technical issues
Understand and communicate service parts, pricing and have the ability to upsell.
Keeping up with local and national codes
Achieving company performance goals
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers and coworkers
Keeping abreast of any technological developments impacting the industry by continued education
Qualifications and Skills
Specific qualifications for the role include:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of proven low voltage installation/service experience
Experience composing all required paperwork and documents to ensure profitable installation
Basic computer skills and ability to operate in a Windows environment
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain stare licensing and pass background check
Ability to lift 50lbs several times daily, navigate ladders and scaffolding, and work in confined space
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
