Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in various situations. The Security Guard will work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Duties
Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies for incident reporting and investigations.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Qualifications
Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
