$23.00 – 28.00 Per hour (Based on Experience & Position) Full benefits, medical, dental, vision, 401k with 3% match (After 90 days of employment) and all uniforms provided!

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and residents of sites. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules and regulations, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned property grounds to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance of the premises. (At specific sites)
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and dispatch calls. This will include conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid and CPR when necessary.
Work with law enforcement as needed during a response to incidents or investigations that may occur on client property.
Conduct regular inspections of lighting and other security related items on client sites and reporting any malfunctions or concerns.
Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.
Participate in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Skills
Professional Security Officers have the ability to:
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and communicate in a professional manner with managers, residents, staff, and public.
Maintain a professional uniformed appearance and demeanor at all times.
Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
Think and act quickly and effectively in emergencies. Analyze situations accurately and make appropriate decisions in a timely manner.
Provide clear and concise instructions to constituents in a variety of unexpected situations or emergencies.
Observe and report facts/information accurately. This includes providing written factual reports that do not include opinion or bias.
Understand and operate physical security devices such as video cameras and access control if needed.
Schedule:
10 hour shift
12 hour shift
8 hour shift
Night shift
Overnight shift
Weekends as needed
Professional Security Officers have the ability to:

Requirements:
Must pass a background check.
Obtain WA State Unarmed Guard License.
Must be able to pass drug screen.
Clean driving record.
Must be able to push/pull/carry 50 lbs.
Previous Security, or Military service (**preferred**).
Education: High school diploma or college NOT required but preferred
