At Syconic we’re seeking a dedicated professional to fulfill a long-term contractCyber Security Analystrole with a Federal Government client. We are passionate about team members who are keen to contribute to our client’s success and also make a tangible impact on the growth of a small business.
As aCyber Security Analystyou will to play a key role in identifying threats, analysing cyber incidents, and collaborating with teams to safeguard critical systems. You’ll also help shape incident response procedures and share your expertise through mentoring and training to strengthen our client’s cyber resilience.
Please note, acurrent NV1 security clearance is essentialfor this role and the successful applicant will be required to workon-site in Canberra.
Collection of cyber security related data for analysis, evaluation, and identification of the root of the attacks against the Client’s ICT environment and key systems.
Implement required cyber security actions to counter attacks and restore system operations.
Work together with the internal ICT team and business areas to communicate about security limitations and produce documentation or reports.
Undertake cyber threat hunting exercises and providing threat intelligence to the entire team.
Partake of mentoring and training as identified.
Assist in the development of standard operating procedures related to cyber security incident response.
