THE ROLE
Our client, a leading technology company is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to enhance it’s security operations and protect critical information assets. This role offers the opportunity to working in a values based organization where innovation is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security events to identify and respond to potential treats.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies.
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configuration and network architectures.
Stay updated on emerging security threats and recommend proactive measures.
THE ESSENTIALS
Degree level education with additional qualifications in Cyber Security or similar.
Experience in a similar situation for a minimum of 2 years with proven experience in security monitoring, incident response and treat analysis.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
Proficiency using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
CompTIA Security+
