Cyber Security Analyst
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect websites, applications, and eCommerce platforms from cyber threats. In this role, you will work within a Cyber Defence Centre, analysing, preventing, and mitigating cyberattacks to enhance overall security.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyse cyber threats, responding to security incidents and attacks.
Strengthen security configurations and implement protective measures.
Manage web security systems, including content delivery networks (CDNs) and web application firewalls (WAFs).
Improve defences against botnet attacks and ensure security for large-scale eCommerce platforms.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance incident response and proactive threat management.
Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and improve security operations.
Your Profile:
Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
Fluent in German and English.
Strong knowledge of web security, network protocols (DNS, HTTP, TLS), and OSI layers.
Experience with CDNs (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare) and web application firewalls.
Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security risks for web applications.
Strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
