Pay range: $62,900 to $135,200 per year

About this position:
A Cyber Security Analyst at NorthWestern Energy works with Security Team to safeguard the company’s digital assets by monitoring for, detecting and remediating threats and security incidents. You will be assessing vulnerabilities helping to implement protective strategies and solutions to mitigate risks. This person will also work with Enterprise Architect to design and develop security strategies while following industry best practices.

About this job:
Configure and support security solutions
Train users on good security awareness Proficiency with firewall technologies
A good working understanding of networking
Research and implement new security systems, devices, and platforms
Research, manage and implement Threat hunting, detection and remediation technologies
Understanding of cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures
Proficient in mobile computing strategies
Audit security events related to critical services and systems
Troubleshoot security and complex technical issues
Work required hours including evenings and weekends in response to service need; including participating in on-call rotation
Travel to meetings, training, and conferences (up to 15% travel per year)

Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field of study. An equivalent combination of years of experience and education may be considered.
