Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our technology team. The key responsibilities of the role would be to construct and enhance existing network security and improve overall cyber environment to ensure that the network is well secured against potential cyber threats and attacks. This will be a hands-on operational role with a global portfolio.
Job Description:
Responsible for the maintenance of the company’s cyber security infrastructure and network environment.
Assist in responding to both external and internal audits on cyber security regulatory and compliance work.
Responsible for daily monitoring and response to identified threats and attacks such as web application attacks, spear-phishing, intrusions and malware.
Responsible for all incident response activities.
Provide recommendations on security requirements to enhance development processes and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/cybersecurity or relevant fields.
Familiar with WAF, OWSAP Top 10 and DDOS attack principles and protections.
Familiar with vulnerability management processes including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and threat profiling.
Familiar with intrusion detection and response with SIEM.
Familiar with one or more public cloud security products.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP principles.
Perform ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required to support the team or company’s operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
Experience with ELK Stack and other open-source tools.
Experience working with international financial regulatory agencies in overseas markets (e.g. Europe, Australia) and meeting compliance requirements across international standards such as PCI-DSS, NIST, ASIC, CIMA, and EBA guidelines.
Proven success in conducting attack simulations and/or threat detection and response.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISP, CCSP, OSCP would be advantageous.
Experience in automating security tasks using custom scripts (e.g. Python).
