Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer responsible for managing and implementing security solutions, handling compliance audits and conducting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT). The ideal candidate will ensure security best practices, monitor threats and improve organizational security posture.
Key Responsibilities
Security Infrastructure Management Design, implement, and maintain security controls to protect networks, systems, and applications. Configure and manage access control mechanisms, identity & access management (IAM), and privileged access management (PAM). Enforce security policies for endpoint security, network security, and cloud security. Ensure continuous security monitoring and enforcement of security baselines.
Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) Conduct Vulnerability Assessments (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) on networks, applications, endpoints, and cloud environments. Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities through risk-based remediation strategies. Perform security configuration reviews for infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms. Develop, document, and execute security testing methodologies and reports.
Compliance & Security Audits Conduct periodic security audits and ensure adherence to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, UAE/NESA . Maintain security compliance through continuous assessment of policies, processes, and controls. Perform risk assessments, gap analyses, and security maturity evaluations. Document audit findings and work with stakeholders to implement corrective measures.
Incident Response & Threat Management Develop and implement Incident Response (IR) plans to detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents. Investigate cyber threats, malware, phishing, insider threats , and unauthorized access incidents. Work with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams to monitor and analyze threat intelligence. Automate security responses and apply threat-hunting techniques to improve proactive defense.
Data Protection & Security Governance Implement Data Loss
Prevention
(DLP) strategies to protect sensitive information across endpoints, cloud, and email. Enforce Zero Trust Security (ZTA) principles to enhance access control mechanisms. Manage security aspects of cloud environments, including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS , and hybrid setups. Define security policies and frameworks for data encryption, secure
communication
, and privacy controls.
Backup & Disaster Recovery (BDR) Develop and maintain Backup & Disaster Recovery (BDR) plans to ensure data
resilience
and business continuity. Test and validate backup restoration processes to verify integrity and minimize downtime. Work with IT teams to implement security best practices for backup management.
Qualifications &
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and VAPT. Strong knowledge of SIEM, PAM, DLP, ZTNA, endpoint security, and cloud security . Experience in ISO 27001 audits , risk assessments, and
regulatory compliance
. Proficiency in security tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, Qualys, Metasploit, Wireshark .
Hands-on experience
with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint security, and M365 security .
