As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will focus on ensuring proper technical and procedural controls are in place for the Company, utilizing the wide array of security tools in use by the organization. In addition to day-to-day information security governance, you will plan and implement new processes and technologies to mature the overall security position of the organization
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with teams across all areas of the organization to understand how cyber security relates to their business use of technology.
Establish and manage implementation of cyber security controls, both technical and procedural. Perform daily security operations tasks as needed, including but not limited to triage of various security alerts, vulnerability management, email security.
Act as a liaison with our Managed Detection and Response and Threat Hunting groups. Evaluate solutions and systems for security vulnerabilities and best practices. Manage incident and event resolution, coordinating communication and reporting.
Mature security program automation using Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response tools.
Continuously improve and document cybersecurity technology standards, policies, and processes.
Lead information security compliance reviews and audits.
Prepare and present information security reporting as directed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a security role within an enterprise environment.
Experience with SOAR and EDR Tools
Experience with Next Gen Firewalls.
Experience with security operations and log analytics.
Experience working in a Security Operations Center a plus.
Understanding of and/or implementation experience with common information security management frameworks, such as NIST/CIS frameworks.
Knowledge of and experience in developing and documenting security plans and systems, including strategic, tactical and project plans.
Highly curious and strong troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-Starter.
Must be able to work well individually as well as with a team.
