Job Description:

Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking an experiencedCyber Security GRC Consultantto support and enhance governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. The role involves working across a complex IT environment, ensuring regulatory adherence and improving cyber resilience strategies.A 12 month day rate contract in Dublin City.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.

Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Collaborate with internal teams to design and enhance security policies.

Provide expert advice on business continuity and cyber resilience strategies.

Manage third-party security risk assessments and ensure supplier compliance.

Oversee the integration of security controls across cloud and on-premises environments.

Support internal and external audits related to security and regulatory requirements.

Provide stakeholder guidance on security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and DORA.

Experience Required:

Minimum5+ yearsof experience in IT security governance, risk, and compliance roles.

Proven track record in enterprise security architecture and business continuity.

Experience working with security control frameworks such asNIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 Type II.

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, includingEU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

Hands-on experience withcyber resilience and data protection strategies.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions such asAcronis, Cohesity, Commvault, Veeam, or Veritas.

Experience managing IT service providers and drafting security-related Statements of Work.

Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and hybrid IT environments.

Understanding of IT Service Management standards (e.g.,ISO 20000, ITIL).

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Professional certifications such asCISSP, CISM, CRISC, TOGAF, or SABSAare highly desirable.
