We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to lead the discovery phase of our customer’s decentralisation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the current cyber security landscape.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in cyber security, with a strategic mindset and the ability to understand and address cyber security challenges comprehensively. This role requires a deep understanding of cyber security principles end-to-end, from architecture and risk management to assurance, governance, and strategy.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field
Proven track record in cybersecurity roles within enterprise-scale organisations, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex cybersecurity challenges
Proven expertise in evaluating and improving cyber security practices within complex organisational structures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address cyber security risks and vulnerabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable
Key responsibilities & duties include:
Conduct a thorough analysis of the existing cyber security infrastructure and practices
Evaluate the effectiveness of cyber security measures, including architecture, risk management protocols, training programs, assurance processes, governance, and strategy
Assess knowledge management practices related to cyber security and identify areas for improvement
Develop criteria for defining how cyber security services should transition back to our customer’s organisation, considering factors such as risk, compliance, and operational requirements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and constraints related to cyber security
Provide recommendations and guidance based on industry best practices and expertise in cyber security
Develop a roadmap for implementing cyber security changes
