We are seeking an experienced and highly skilledCybersecurity Specialistto join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in security technologies, cloud security, and cybersecurity frameworks. This role will involve implementing and managing advanced security solutions to protect the organization’s infrastructure, systems, and data from potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Technologies Management:
Implement and manage a range of security technologies, including but not limited to:
Proxy,firewalls, andintrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)systems andvulnerability scanners.
Network Access Control,MXDR/XDR/EDR,SOC,anti-virus solutions, andWeb Application Firewalls (WAF).
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)systems andIdentity and Access Management (IAM)solutions.
Cloud Security Expertise:
Develop and implement cloud security measures for platforms likeAWSandAzure.
Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure security to ensure compliance with best practices.
Collaborate with cloud architects to identify and mitigate security risks in cloud-based solutions.
Vulnerability Management:
Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans.
Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and configurations.
Incident Response:
Develop and maintain incident response plans.
Respond to security incidents, analyze threats, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Compliance and Certification:
Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory security standards.
Maintain documentation of security practices and compliance measures.
Desirable Certifications:
In addition to product certifications, hold one or more of the following security certifications:
CISSP(Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
CISA(Certified Information Systems Auditor)
CISM(Certified Information Security Manager)
CGEIT(Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT)
CRISC(Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
CEH(Certified Ethical Hacker)
OSCP(Offensive Security Certified Professional)
GIAC(Global Information Assurance Certification) or equivalent.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Security Technologies:Strong hands-on experience with a wide range of tools and systems, including firewalls, SIEM, DLP, IAM, SOC, MXDR/XDR/EDR, and Web Application Firewalls.
Cloud Security Knowledge:Advanced understanding ofAWSandAzuresecurity practices and frameworks.
Certifications (Desirable):Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly valued.
Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze and respond to security threats effectively.
Collaboration:Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across departments and with stakeholders.
