Required Skills & Experience
– Broad knowledge of information security principles and adversarial tools and techniques
– Strong knowledge of computer networking and log analysis
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to identify, analyze and address cyber security threats, including emerging tactics and techniques
– Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey a cyber-security threat or issue to an external firm in a way that demonstrates how it violates Terms of Service or Community Standards
– Strong risk mitigation capabilities
– Strong documentation skills commensurate with that of a Project Manager –
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
– Previous/demonstrated cybersecurity investigation work
– Experience in network monitoring and intrusion detection systems
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Cyber Brand Defense Specialist for one of our clients in the financial services industry. This individual will be joining a team focused on identifying and investigating external cybersecurity and digital threats to our client. They will be expected to operate independently, leveraging best-in-class investigative skills across multiple concurrent investigations to mitigate these threats. This will include counter phishing/vishing, network attacks, fraud, social media and internet threats, social engineering, and other potential threats. This person will need to be a strong communicator who builds relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive investigations and resolutions through.
