VirtueStaff is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Incident Response to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents and threats. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients’ data and systems.
Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and investigate potential incidents
Analyze security incidents and vulnerabilities to determine their impact on the organization’s information systems
Coordinate and execute incident response processes, including containment, eradication, and recovery
Document incidents thoroughly, track response efforts, and provide post-incident analysis and reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture and incident response procedures
Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the cybersecurity landscape
Participate in security awareness training for staff and clients
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in cybersecurity incident response or a related role
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies
Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection)
Experience in conducting threat assessments and vulnerability analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or similar are preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
