Title: Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist

Accountabilities and Key Roles :
Conduct security scanning and technical controls assessment.
Follow up and track vulnerability management dashboard with stakeholders.
Arrange with applications owners regarding the security fixes and remediation plan.
Review security controls standards for enhancement and continuous update.
Automate tasks that are related to vulnerability management.
Troubleshoot technical issues with security vendors.
Coordinate penetration test activities that are conducted via 3rd party vendors and internal teams.
Provide recommendations and guidance on security best practices to fix vulnerabilities and enhance security posture.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, Risk) to address security vulnerabilities.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, cybersecurity or related field.
Certificates such as Security+, CEH, etc.
Experience:
2 years of experience in a related field.
Competencies:
Familiar with security assessment and scanning tools.
Good understanding of CIS Benchmark and other security hardening standards.
Projects management and coordination skills, in facilitating security testing and security remediation plans.
Familiar with penetration testing reporting and basic understanding of OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities.
Effective communicator with experience of working in a fast paced dynamic environment
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies.
Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions during emergency situations.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Power point and Power BI.
