Job Role:
A Cybersecurity Expert is responsible for Planning, designing, building, testing, and implementing security systems within an organization’s Enterprise, cloud and telecom network. Cybersecurity Expert is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT and telecom systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best-practice security products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
A cybersecurity Expert will be responsible for supervising and delivering security strategy planning, architecture frameworks, blueprints, and solutions needed and Design the solutions in compliance with regulatory frameworks such as:
Enterprise Security controls – Cloud Security controls –
Telecom signaling protection – Access Network security
MPLS and transport network security
Mobile core security (Data and voice) – Fixed Core security (Data and voice) – Virtualization and Containerization security – Security of supporting services and IT stacks such as OSS and BSS – MVNO Architecture security,
Job Specifications :
Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a relevant field e.g., IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, Telecoms. • Expert knowledge of security architectures, technologies, standards, and industry guidelines, especially those applicable to the Telecommunication sector and Network. • Deep knowledge of networking, routing and switching. • Working knowledge of telecom endpoint device security such as CPE, mobile device, and SIM. • Good understanding of virtualization technologies in Telco environments. • A proven track record, in designing, documenting, and deploying a range of security features for a global organization’s Telco and Network infrastructure. • Proven track record of actively contributing to the creation, review, and redactions of standard, high-level architecture documents and presentations at all levels from very technical to leadership level. • Excellent communication capabilities to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios and communicate security risk in business terms and the ability to interact effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders. • Consultancy Skills delivered in culturally aware global corporate environments
