Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Governance Lead to oversee and manage the governance framework for offboard components supporting connected vehicle services. In this role, you will define, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, compliance protocols, and risk management strategies to safeguard cloud platforms, APIs, data storage, and third-party integrations used in connected vehicles. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of connected vehicle services, ensuring a strong cybersecurity posture in an increasingly dynamic and complex landscape
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of thecybersecurity governance frameworkfor offboard components (e.g., cloud services, APIs, backend systems) related to connected vehicle services.
Define and enforcepolicies,standards, andproceduresfor the secure operation of all offboard infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall cybersecurity strategy.
Lead the preparation and presentation ofcybersecurity assessments, reports, and evidence toexternal auditorssuch asUTAC, or other regulatory bodies and certification authorities.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather documentation, ensurecompliance with industry standardsISO/SAE21434, ISO 27001, etc.)and regulatory requirements(UN R155, GDPR, etc.), and address any findings or recommendations from external audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, DevOps, cloud architects, and product managers to ensure thatsecurity is incorporated from the design phasethrough deployment for all offboard systems.
Conduct regularrisk assessmentsfor offboard components, identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
Develop and maintain a continuouscompliance monitoring programthat audits offboard systems to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
Oversee thecybersecurity posture of third-party vendorsand cloud service providers, ensuring they comply with internal security policies and industry best practices.
