We’re seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Intern to join our client’s team and gain hands-on experience in protecting their organization’s digital assets and information.
Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents, investigating potential threats, and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and address potential security risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to recommend proactive measures and enhancements to our security posture.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and technologies.
Familiarity with network security, encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Although not strictly required, a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related fields is highly appreciated.
