Title: Cyber Security Technology Analyst
Our client in Winnipeg, MB is looking for several Cyber Security Technology Analyst resources for a 6 mth+ contract to start (with extensions), reference 110-0325. This requirement is remote so candidates can be located anywhere in Canada
Things You Need to Have:
Cyber security certifications demonstrating technical aptitude and experience, such as: CISSP, OSCP, CCSP, SANS GIAC, CCSA, CCSE, and advanced Microsoft Azure certifications.
5+ years direct experience in cyber security in a hands-on technical role.
Direct experience with one or more of the following technical platforms: CheckPoint Firewalls, Microsoft M365/Azure, NetSkope, Gigamon.
Ability to create and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including procedures, incident reports, and configurations.
At least 7 years of direct experience working in cyber security, and at least 10 years working in Information Technology, with exposure to a wide-range of technologies and security domain areas.
Knowledge and experience within retail and entertainment sectors considered an asset
Knowledge and experience with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) related standards and guides are considered an asset
Must have own Windows based computer with standard Windows applications (Windows 10 or higher)
Must have own communications device
What you will be doing:
Manage and maintain information security systems to ensure optimal performance and protection against threats.
Perform hands-on configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of cyber security technologies, including Check Point Firewalls, Microsoft M365/Azure, NetSkope, and Gigamon.
Provide expert guidance to team members and stakeholders.
