Job Description:
Peaple Talent has partnered with a digital customs partner that is undergoing a digital transformation, acquisition integration, and legacy system removal. A crucial aspect is ensuring compliance with GDPR and NIS2 legal obligations. Following training, this role will also serve as the company’s nominated Data Protection Officer. This is also a great chance for progression gaining certifications and building out a wide skillset within Data protection!
Responsibilities:
Act as the central point of contact for GDPR-related matters with business stakeholders, users, and external customers.
Provide regular reporting to the CDO and Compliance Director.
Ensure company policies align with GDPR and NIS2 codes of practice.
Evaluate the existing data protection framework, identifying and rectifying compliance issues.
Devise training plans and offer data protection advice to staff, suppliers, and external customers.
Promote a culture of data protection and compliance across the organization.
Serve as the Data Protection Officer for the Group.
Coordinate security training and compliance.
Report on phishing testing results and recommend corrective action.
Establish a digital/documented framework for GDPR/NIS2.
Write and implement new policies for GDPR/NIS2 in collaboration with business users.
Profile:
Good working knowledge of GDPR legislation.
Familiarity with the proposed NIS2 framework.
Experience in a regulated environment with high data confidentiality.
Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Knowledge of Power BI for reporting.
Willingness to travel to all CSG offices.
