Responsibilities:
Support the development of our overall Information Security Management System (ISMS) to help ensure delivery of an Information Security strategy that supports business goals while minimising IT, legal and regulatory compliance risks.
Support the Head of ICT by leading workstreams in strategic projects such as the Cyber Resilience Programme and providing ‘thought leadership’ on defensive strategies for next generation networks and integrated cloud services.
Act as a technical Network and IT Security Subject Matter Expert, advising stakeholders on Information Security policies and assist in the development of technical solutions to implement policy while meeting business needs.
Commissioning and performing technical IT Security reviews such as penetration tests for web, mobile, and application security to test compliance with COMPANY Information Security policies and standards, tracking remedial actions to closure.
Managing a portfolio of outsourced service providers to assist with the design and implementation of new systems and services, including procurement and tendering for consultancy and specialist penetration testing services in IT and OT.
Support the IT Architecture team in the design and implementation of new systems and services, ideally expertise in Virtual Systems and Networking, and Azure Cloud Security, acting as a consultant and advisor, delivering business and requirements while ensuring that they comply with COMPANY policies and standards, and best practice security principles.
Network Security – show a deep understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network architecture design, including an understanding of Zero Trust Network Architecture.
Knowledge of AI technologies and automation tools to enhance security processes and operational efficiency.
Support the Data Protection in implementing our Privacy by Design policy, acting as a technical advisor to IT and business projects, delivering on design criteria and IT Security controls to enable Privacy by Design.
Support Assist the ICT team in managing our Cyber Security Risk profile – identify, assess, evaluate, and document risks arising from our use of technology, and ensure that risk management strategies are in place.
