Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property Point of contact with authorities and emergency services Monitor detainees Complete administrative functions Conduct preventive surveillance rounds Qualifications to become a Security Guard for the RCMP detachment Available to work

(days, evenings, nights, weekdays, weekends) Policing or corrections background or 3+ years as a high-profile security officer First Aid CPR Level C (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke) Permanent Canadian resident for a minimum of 5 years.
Have a clear criminal background Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Security Clearance status Be eligible to work in Canada Bilingual is an asset (as needed per location)
