Due to current growth throughout Balranald Shire, we are seekingexperiencedFT certified/licensed DIDO Security Guardsto fill full-time vacancies working across two of our sister villages in theBalranald NSW.The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of effective and responsive security services, interacting with clients, residents, visitors, staff and contractors on a daily basis. As such, you will be a confident communicator and able to respond to queries in a professional manner.
Roster is 14 days on, 7 days off and this is a drive-in, drive-out role
Locals are encouraged to apply and must have own reliable transport.
Accommodation and meals are supplied whilst rostered onsite.
Alternate rosters & casual roles may be discussed.
The Role
Ensure site integrity and safety
Site access control for people and vehicles
Mobile security checks of site perimeter, camp and laydown areas
Maintain daily security logs
Emergency response and incident control
Crowd control for bar and tavern areas
We’re looking for candidates with:
Minimum of 2 years experience
Minimum qualification of Cert II Security Operations
Hold a valid NSW Security Officers license which includes crowd control
Current first aid and CPR certificates
Be able to work autonomous
To be considered, you must have or be willing to obtain:
Australian Driver’s License / Manual C Class (must be any Australian State) – International license is not accepted
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
Have a recent National Police Check (within 1 month).
Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
