Are you a Digital Forensic professional with a passion for analysing and examining computer systems and mobile devices, whilst helping to have criminals convicted with the investigations you have conducted?
We have anexcitingopportunity for a Digital Forensic Investigator to join our client’s team; they are the leading specialist in Digital Forensics and IR capabilities, providing top services to multiple clients within the corporate, legal and law sector.
This client has a state-of-the-art Lab in Manchester, where you will join theirexperienced team, working closely with other like-minded and skilled professionals that will help you tolearn and growyour skillset.
As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in conducting investigations, examinations, and analysis of different devices. This role will give you the opportunity to work for top clients and expandyour skillsin Digital forensics investigations. You could eventually become skilled within Incident Response or lead a competent forensics team.
Role includes:
Conducting analysis in either a lab or on client sites
Securing and retrieving data from mobiles, computers, and other devices
Reporting findings to a high standard for use in court and within the police
Supporting discussions with stakeholders and police members to keep them updated on cases being worked on
Experience:
3 years experience working in Digital Forensics
SC cleared or eligible, and NPPV3 cleared or eligible
Experience in mobile device forensics and computer system forensics
Experience with tools such as EnCase, FTK, and Cellebrite
Good knowledge and understanding of computer crime and electronic evidence, including an understanding of ISO 17025 and the FSR codes
