About The TeamThe Salesforce (GTM) Platform team leads all aspects of the platform’s operations, encompassing security, compliance, and overall functionality. Our team is primarily based in Pleasanton, California, and Pune, India.
About The RoleThe GTM Platform Team is seeking a top-tier and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Salesforce Platform, coordinating security, compliance operations, and application support. This role will own the team responsible for the governance, optimization, and expansion of our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring its alignment with business objectives, as well as security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of the architecture, development, and optimization of the Salesforce platform to meet business needs.
Establish and implement standard methodologies for Salesforce configuration, customization, and deployment.
Lead multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and improvements within the Salesforce ecosystem with focus on security, compliance, platform health and application support
Ensure the platform aligns with organizational goals and delivers maximum value to customers.
Establish collaborative relationships with internal platform customers and external vendors responsible for supporting the GTM platform (Salesforce, Conga) and its ecosystem.
Responsible for leading GTM platform support and critical issues during the PST Hrs
Experience in architecting, implementing and supporting DevOps processes.
Security and Compliance:
Develop and implement security policies and protocols to protect critical data within the Salesforce platform.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and organizational policies.
Perform regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability analyses.
Collaborate with legal, IT, and compliance teams to address regulatory and contractual requirements.
