Description:
Omni-Serv has been providing manpower for a multitude of airport services. We are seeking licensed security professionals to secure construction enclosures within the terminal areas of JFK Airport.
Job Scope
Performs all duties of monitoring and escorting non-bagged visitors and personnel while in controlled access areas (CAA) or in other locations within the airport facilities and grounds. Security Escorts are responsible for making sure no sensitive material leaves the site and no unauthorized persons enter.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for escorting all non-badged visitors, personnel, and/or contractors performing work in secure areas of the airport as directed by the supervisor
Supervises the movement of tools and materials being brought into controlled access areas, ensuring all items are cleared by designated security personnel before entry
Ensure access points are secured
Requirements:
Must be willing to work variable shifts
Must have a valid New York Security License
Must have a valid US driver’s License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier’s criteria
Must be able to multi-task
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Previous security experience is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
Security escorts are required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Some weekends required) Work Shift to be determined
Compensation: $19.75 p/h
