SUMMARY: This position is responsible for preserving the integrity of the facility by patrolling the facility perimeter and ensuring it is secure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate with supervisor any occurrences on a timely basis
Complete shift log and vehicle inspection
Complete all incident reports if necessary
Ensure all fire lanes are clear
Assist the gatehouse officer when needed
Complete the exterior guard tour
Assist finance department with bank runs
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent driving record
Excellent customer service skills
Strong observation skills
Concise writing skills
Thorough understanding of the security operation
Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
18 years of age or older
Flexible schedule; nights, weekends and holidays may be required
Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel.
The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
