Starting salary range: $90,000 – 125,000

Overview: As a Director of Security for MERRILL Technologies Group you are responsible for building, leading, and supervising a security team to promote a safe and secure work environment by maintaining physical, cyber, and information security protocols and ensuring compliance with Intelligence Community directives. You will maintain knowledge of industry best practices, National Industry Security Program requirements, and contract security specifications and requirements. You will advise key management personnel as well as government program representatives on industrial security measures, prepare and process security documentation, and oversee CMMC requirements and certification process.
Job Functions:
Create, execute, and monitor security policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with Government security requirements.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and investigations of security incidents.
Provide subject matter expertise to security team, senior leadership, customers, and governement stakeholders
Coordinate with IT teams on information and cybersecurity matters.
Oversee security trainings, briefings, and debriefings and maintain all records in compliance with security manual and governmental requirements
Act as primary contact for all security agencies and for all things physical and cyber security related.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, preferred candidate has a BS/BA in a security related field. CMMC experience highly preferred.
5+ years of relevant industry experience, working as a Director of Security or Security manager, or similar related experience.
Strong leadership skills in a team setting, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving abilities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality through all levels of the organization.
